When you need a new cellphone, you go into one of the major cellphone retailers and take out a cellphone contract, pay a monthly fee and use your phone for 2 years. 2 years later you can upgrade your phone, keep your old one and have the joys of the latest technology.
Up to now… this option was not available for hearing aids. Hearing aids were in the past typically funded privately and sometimes partially by medical aids. This resulted in firstly, individuals not being able to afford hearing aids at all, suffering under the consequences of untreated hearing loss or only being able to afford VERY basic technology and thereby quality of life suffering and not benefiting from hearing aids sufficiently. We experience these challenges first hand on a daily basis and being audiologists with a love for the people we work with, and a love for what we do- it touches us deeply to not be able to help.
The great news is that now we can offer you your hearing aid on contract basis… similar to the contract you can take out for your hearing instrument!
What do we need?
We need to determine which hearing aid would be best suitable for you, for this – a consultation with the Audiologist is needed
Proof of regular income (salary, rental income, pension, investment income etc…) this proof can either be through a salary slip or 3 months bank statements.
– SA ID or Passport
– Proof of Address
Approval will take a maximum of 5 working days.
A debit order will need to be signed.
You will be provided with an invoice for the hearing aid which you will be able to claim back from your medical aid. You can use the amount from the medical aid towards monthly payments on the contract!!
