Our Staff

Yolandé is the owner and founder of the practice and has been practicing since 2009. She has 2 little children, and most of our patients has enjoyed this journey with us, seeing the kids grow up on photos when visiting the practice.

Audiology, hearing, and adding to patients’ lives have always been the passion and the purpose. I firmly believe that every single person in front of me should be treated as if they were my own mother/father/grandmother/grandfather or children. 

I have a great passion for the outdoors and share my love for the bushveld (where I grew up) with my husband Charl. I was a small-town girl, growing up in the Waterberg district – Vaalwater, before I attended high school in Pretoria and after that, University of Pretoria. Read more here

Charmaine is the welcoming face you see and is our office manager at the Centurion practice.

She has been a part of our practice since  2016  and we love working with her!

I’m an animal lover and involved with Animal Care/Rescue. I love the outdoors and have done the Otter Trail as well as a few others. I’m the granny of a beautiful two-year-old and love every minute of it. I love my position at Yolandé Van Der Westhuizen Audiologists working with our lovely patients and being of service to them.

Bianca is our Admin & Marketing Coordinator at our Wierda Park branch. She always strives to do her best.

I love spending time at home with my husband and our animal babies. I also love baking and art. I enjoy exploring new things and meeting new people. Working at Spectrum is such a privilege and I’m honoured to be part of such an amazing team.

Madelein is part of our reception team at our Wierda Park branch. She is always ready to greet our clients warmly.

 I am a mother of a 7-year-old boy, a girl and boy (twins) of 4 years old. My kids mean the world to me. I always wanted to be able to make a change and a difference in someone’s life, and when I joined Spectrum, I finally felt part of a team where making a difference in someone’s life is part of my everyday life.

Rolien as the receptionist gives you the warmest welcome at our Saxby practice and has been a part of our team since 2018. We are thrilled to work with her!

I love gardening, embroidery, crochet and the outdoors. The highlight in my life is my children and of course to be granny for my 5 beautiful grandchildren. To be part of Spectrum Hearing and be of service to all our wonderful patients is a privilege.

Lelani is our Audiologist at our Saxby as well as Bronkhorstspruit branches. She is always happy to see our clients.

I am an Audiologist who loves my job. I am married to my best friend and enjoy a wide range of activities including gardening, reading, hiking. I have a big love for animals and love spending time with them. I am privileged to be a part of Spectrum’s team full of amazing colleagues and the opportunity to always learn something new.

Michèle is one of our audiologists at the Ilovo branch, she is always friendly and willing to help.

Audiology has been part of my whole life since I have a hearing loss since childhood. My purpose in life is to provide other hearing aid users, including parents of children who use hearing aids, the same support I had during my hearing loss journey. I grew up in Witbank, Mpumalanga and studied at the University of Pretoria, where I also obtained my master’s degree in Audiology. Besides being passionate about Audiology, I like being creative and see myself as an artist, a food enthusiast, and a dog mom. I enjoy travelling, markets and socialising with friends. Above all I have a special place in my heart for my family, friends, and the people I serve. Working for Spectrum is a dream come true.

Sherree is our administrator at the Ilovo branch always ready to greet you with a smile.

I am passionate about a lot of things, my friends and family are on top of my list, if I cannot spend time with them, I prefer spending time listening to music, I can relate to any type of music, and going to a concert is an option I will always be the first to be in the queue. Being part of the Spectrum team gives me great pleasure.

Tammy is the friendly and efficient lady at the reception at our Benoni practice.

I am the proud mother of 3 beautiful girls, Savannah, Teyana and Eliana. I love spending time with my family, the outdoors, free diving and binge-watching TV series. I also enjoy volunteering for outreach projects. My passion is to help people, that’s why being a part of Yolande’s team is such a joy and privilege for me.

Megan is the friendly reception and administrator at our Bronkhorstspruit practice.

I love being out in nature, going camping, and spending time with friends and family. I also love music and reading, my dream is to one day see as much of the world as I can BUT working with people and giving them the best experience and service I can is my true passion.
