We are embracing the last bit of women’s month and the start of spring in the best way we thought, introducing the ladies at Yolandé van der Westhuizen Audiologists. Behind every success woman is a tribe of other successful women that has her back. You might recognize the names and the faces, but we would like to share a little bit of each one of us.
Yolandé van der Westhuizen
Yolandé is the owner and founder of the practice and has been practicing since 2009. She has 2 little children, and most of our patients has enjoyed this journey with us, seeing the kids grow up on photos when visiting the practice.
Audiology, hearing, and adding to patients’ lives have always been the passion and the purpose. I firmly believe that every single person in front of me should be treated as if they were my own mother / father / grandmother / grandfather or children.
I have a great passion for the outdoors and share my love for the bushveld (where I grew up) with my husband Charl. I was a small town girl, growing up in the Waterberg district – Vaalwater, before I attended high school in Pretoria and after that, University of Pretoria. Read more here.
Marike Haasbroek
Marike is our other Audiologist team member. She joined us in January 2020, and obtained her degree at the University of Pretoria (UP), after which she also obtained her Masters degree at UP.
Our patients just love her, and we are thrilled to have her in the team!
My passion in life is to work with people and give the
m the opportunity to hear better and communicate. During my free time I love to spend time with family and friends, and my dog. If that happens to be in the outdoors, that is a bonus! Charmaine Coetzee
Charmaine is the welcoming face you see and is our office manager at the Centurion practice. 
She has been a part of our practice since 2016 and we love working with her!
I’m an animal lover and involved with Animal Care/Rescue. I love the outdoors and have done the Otter Trail as well as a few others. I’m the granny of a beautiful two-year-old and love every minute of it. I love my position at Yolandé Van Der Westhuizen Audiologists working with our lovely patients and to be of service to them.
Rolien van der Merwe
I love gardening, embroidery, crochet and the outdoors. The highlight in my life is my children and of course to be granny for my 5 beautiful grandchildren. To be part of Yolandé van der Westhuizen Audiologists and be of service to all our wonderful patients is a privilege.
Tammy van Zyl
Tammy is the friendly and efficient lady at reception at our Benoni practice.
I am the proud mother of 3 beautiful girls, Savannah, Teyana and Eliana. I love spending time with my family, the outdoors, free diving and binge watching TV series. I also enjoy volunteering for outreach projects. My passion is to help people, that’s why being apart of Yolande’s team is such a joy and privilege for me.
